Terms & Conditions
“CCC” refers to Cassandra College Coaching and all affiliated coaches. “Client” refers to the student and/or parent/guardian purchasing CCC services. These Terms & Conditions govern the services provided by CCC. By purchasing or using CCC services, clients agree to comply with all terms outlined herein.
Client Responsibility: Coaching is designed to empower clients to take ownership of their writing. Clients are expected to complete their own writing and revisions. Completing the Zoom sessions included in the bundles does not guarantee a certain number of essays or application components will be finalized or reach a submission-ready state. Clients are expected to come prepared with brainstorming, notes and deep self-reflection on life events prior to each session to receive the greatest possible benefit. Client is solely responsible for completing all essays and all application components on time and on track throughout the application cycle, including managing a realistic schedule to complete specific essays/components at self-planned milestone dates. Client is solely responsible for ensuring all forms, test scores, transcripts, school reports, recommendation letters, and any other documentation needed by the college are submitted before each deadline. CCC is not responsible for tracking deadlines. Client’s family is solely responsible for paying all applicable fees necessary to complete applications, including but not limited to application fees, test score report sending fees, and transcript ordering fees. CCC does not provide comprehensive college admissions counseling (building school lists, financial aid guidance, extracurricular strategies, teacher recs, etc); their services are mainly focused on the written portion of the application, with the exception of interview prep.
Communication: All communication takes place via email. Email responses may take up to 3 business days. Direct email access to CCC coaches is reserved for clients who purchase bundles. Clients are responsible for monitoring their email and responding in a timely manner.
Scheduling: Clients are responsible for responding to scheduling communications in a timely manner. Session availability is on a first-come, first-served basis, and unconfirmed time slots may be allocated to other clients. For bundles that include multiple sessions, it is the client’s responsibility to schedule these throughout the application process. Requests to book multiple sessions back-to-back at the last minute, particularly during peak periods near application deadlines, may not be accommodated due to high demand. CCC is not responsible if a client is unable to secure their preferred time slots.
Word count: All drafts submitted for Cassandra College Coaching (CCC) edits and feedback should be completed to the best of the client’s abilities prior to submission and must be within 50 words of the max word count of the essay question before the coach starts editing (for 50-word essays, it must be within 10 words of the max word count). While coaches may suggest cuts, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure their essay meets the required word or character limit. If clients want extra support with trimming or restructuring, an additional round of edits may be purchased.
Second Round Edits: Requests for subsequent-round edits must be submitted to CCC within 2 weeks of receiving the prior-round edit; otherwise, the client forfeits the right to receive second round edits and will not receive any refund for the missed round. Each round of edits in the same editing package applies only to the same essay draft responding to the same prompt. If CCC determines that the content has changed substantially from the original draft, essentially becoming a different essay, a new editing package must be purchased.
Turnaround & Rush: Edits are returned within 3 business days (holidays excluded), provided that essays are within the word count policy. Business days are Monday through Friday. Rush editing (1-business day turnaround) may be available at CCC’s discretion. Turnaround time begins when links to drafts are submitted via email.
Holidays: Observed holidays include Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day.
Non-refundable: Editing packages, Zooms, and bundles are non-refundable. All services in a purchased bundle must be used within the current college application cycle (ending with the latest application deadline in the client’s bundle, or January 31, whichever comes first). Any unused editing rounds, Zoom sessions, or other services at the end of the application cycle are non-refundable, non-transferrable to any other party, and do not roll over.
Cancellations: Any no-shows or last-minute (defined as less than 24 hours prior notice to scheduled Zoom session start time) reschedules or cancellations will count as one completed 40-minute Zoom session. Clients showing up late to a scheduled Zoom session are only entitled to receiving services up until the scheduled end-time of that session, with no prorated refund offered. Reschedules must be made via email only. Technology issues on the client’s side do not extend the session.
Admissions: CCC does not make any representations as to the increased likelihood of acceptance, rejection, waitlisting, deferral, or any other decision for admittance to any university, college, two-year college, any institution of higher education, or educational institution whatsoever, that may be derived as a result of client's participation in the Editing Packages, YouTube videos, or 1:1 Zoom sessions. CCC cannot and does not guarantee that clients will attain a particular result, positive or negative, financial or otherwise, through CCC services and clients accept and understand that results differ for each individual. CCC also expressly disclaims responsibility in any way for the choices, actions, results, use, misuse or non-use of the information provided or obtained through any of their services. Clients agree that results are strictly their own and CCC is not liable or responsible in any way for their results. Insights or recommendations provided by CCC are provided as general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more timely sources of information.
Termination: CCC reserves the right to terminate services at any time for any reason, including misconduct, boundary issues, plagiarism, AI usage, or disrespect. In such cases, a pro-rata refund for unused services may be offered at CCC’s sole discretion.
AI Use: CCC has a zero-tolerance policy for AI-generated content in client materials. Detection or suspicion of AI-generated content based on content analysis and coach discretion, in part or in whole, may result in immediate termination of services, forfeiture of all fees paid, and/or refusal of further coaching. Clients affirm that all submitted work is their own original work. Clients who knowingly violate this policy acknowledge that CCC is not responsible for consequences related to their application submissions.
Prices & Payment: CCC may offer differently priced bundles to clients based on CCC's recommendation for their unique situations. Prices are subject to change at any time. Promotional pricing, scholarships, and discounts may vary. Payment constitutes agreement to these Terms & Conditions.
Confidentiality: CCC values client privacy. Clients’ essays and personal information will never be shared in a way that identifies them. Coaches may discuss student work or progress in general terms for educational, promotional, or marketing purposes, without revealing any identifying information.
CCC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of CCC services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
